At Web IDE ("we", "our", or "us"), your privacy and the security of your code are our highest priorities. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, and protect your data when you use our iOS and iPadOS applications. We are committed to minimizing data collection and maximizing local processing.

2. Local-First Data Storage

Web IDE is designed as a local-first application. The source code, project files, and environment configurations you create are stored directly on your device's local file system or your personal iCloud Drive. We do not transmit, back up, or host your code on our servers. Your intellectual property remains exclusively in your control.

3. AI Agent and Data Processing

When utilizing the autonomous AI agent or smart autocomplete features, relevant code snippets and natural language prompts are transmitted securely via end-to-end encrypted API requests to our language model providers. Your code is never used to train base AI models. All transmitted data is ephemeral and is immediately discarded by the provider after the completion of the request.

4. Information We Collect

We believe in data minimization. The only data we collect is essential for the operation and improvement of the app:

• Anonymized Telemetry: Crash reports and basic usage metrics (e.g., feature adoption rates) to help us identify bugs and improve performance. This data contains no personally identifiable information (PII) or source code.
• Purchase History: Managed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We receive anonymized receipt validation tokens to unlock premium features, but we do not have access to your payment details or billing address.

5. Third-Party Integrations

If you choose to connect Web IDE to third-party services like GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket, you do so under their respective privacy policies. Authentication tokens for these services are stored securely in your device's Keychain and are never routed through or accessible by our infrastructure.

6. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your region (such as under the GDPR or CCPA), you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. Because we do not store your personal data or codebase on our servers, you can "delete" your data at any time simply by uninstalling the Application and deleting its associated local folders.
