Terms of Service
Effective Date: October 24, 2025
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, accessing, or using Web IDE ("the Application", "we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please refrain from using the Application. These Terms apply to all users, developers, and visitors who interact with our services.
2. Description of Service
Web IDE is a comprehensive mobile code editor designed natively for iOS and iPadOS devices. It provides an autonomous AI programming agent, live syntax highlighting, live preview capabilities, Git integration, and an embedded local terminal. The service primarily operates using your device's local storage and computational resources, with optional cloud integrations based on your explicit preferences.
3. AI Code Generation and Ownership
The Application utilizes advanced artificial intelligence to assist with code generation, syntax correction, and project refactoring. You retain full and exclusive intellectual property rights to the code you generate using our AI tools. We do not claim any ownership of your source code or projects. Furthermore, your source code is processed securely in isolated environments and is never used to train our base AI models without your deliberate, opt-in consent.
4. Subscriptions and App Store Purchases
Certain advanced features of Web IDE are unlocked exclusively via in-app purchases or recurring subscriptions processed securely through the Apple App Store. Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account upon confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours prior to the end of the current billing cycle. You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your App Store account settings after purchase.
5. User Conduct and Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Application for any unlawful or malicious purposes, including but not limited to:
- Creating or distributing malicious software, ransomware, or viruses.
- Violating or infringing upon third-party intellectual property or privacy rights.
- Attempting to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the Application's proprietary AI algorithms.
- Engaging in any activity that disrupts or degrades the performance of our API servers.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Web IDE, its developers, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. This includes, without limitation, loss of profits, data corruption, codebase loss, or goodwill arising from your use of or inability to use the Application. Ensure you maintain adequate backups of your work using our Git integration.
7. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at our discretion at any time. We will notify users of any significant changes by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this document. Continued use of the Application after such modifications constitutes your formal acknowledgment and acceptance of the updated Terms.
