Terms of Service
Last Updated: October 2023. These terms govern your use of the Web IDE mobile application and platform.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the Web IDE mobile application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. As a guest-only or local-usage service, Web IDE provides tools for coding directly on your device without the need for traditional user accounts. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.
2. Local Usage Model
Web IDE is designed to operate primarily on your local device. We do not require registration, login credentials, or the creation of a user profile. All project files, preferences, and data are stored locally on your iPhone or iPad unless you explicitly use export or publishing features.
3. Use of AI Services
Web IDE utilizes advanced Artificial Intelligence to provide code suggestions, refactoring, and generation. You acknowledge that AI-generated content is provided "as-is" and should be reviewed by a professional developer before being used in production environments. While we strive for high accuracy, Web IDE is not responsible for bugs, security vulnerabilities, or logical errors in AI-suggested code.
4. Intellectual Property
You retain full and exclusive ownership of the code you write using Web IDE. Your projects are your property. However, the App's interface, AI models, brand assets, and underlying technology are the exclusive property of Web IDE. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App itself.
5. Service Limitations
As a local-first application, the availability of your data depends on your device's health and storage. We are not responsible for data loss resulting from device failure, app deletion, or operating system errors. We recommend regular manual backups of your important projects.
6. Pro Subscriptions
Premium features are tied to your Apple ID via the App Store. Since Web IDE does not use internal accounts, your subscription status is verified directly through Apple's secure infrastructure. All billing, cancellations, and refunds are managed through your App Store account settings.
7. Limitation of Liability
Web IDE shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the service, including but not limited to loss of project files, loss of profits, or business interruption.
8. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the company is registered, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
